The Hillcrest segment of highway 4 widening is tentatively scheduled to begin in the fall/winter of 2012 with work continuing until late 2014. The Hillcrest project will widen highway 4 to tie in to the existing highway 4 bypass and will provide a median wide enough to accommodate mass transit.
